Physics Book

Physics Olympiads, where schoolchildren are asked to solve complex non-standard problems, play an important role in the preparation of future research physicists. Successful participation in the Olympiad requires not only an absolutely free command of the school curriculum, but also the ability to independently construct physical idealizations, apply adequate mathematical apparatus, analyze the results obtained, in general, think creatively almost like a professional physicist, and also under strict time constraints. The context has been considered while preparing the book.

The Mathematics Book wil serve as a language tool for Physics Studies.

Simplicio: Everyday experience shows that the propagation of light is instantaneous; for when we see a piece of artillery fired, at a great distance, the flash reaches our eyes without lapse of time; but the sound reaches the ear only after a noticeable interval. 

Sagredo: Well, Simplicio, the only thing I am able to infer from this familiar bit of experience is that sound, in reaching our ear, travels more slowly than light; it does not inform me whether the coming of the light is instantaneous or whether, although extremely rapid, it still occupies time....
